At the age of eleven, I won a schools competition to provide a gift to mark the birth of HRH Prince William of Wales. I had the idea of composing a lullaby and was thrilled when it won the competition and I received an encouraging letter from Buckingham Palace assuring me my little piece was having the desired effect!
